Looking for a way to make a difference?

For serving opportunities within Christ’s Church or to complete a volunteer application, go here.

We are excited that you are interested in serving in the Prison Ministry! There are many serving opportunities to choose from: administrative, prayer partners, encouragement cards, hosts, group facilitators, etc. Many of these opportunities can be done at your home or church. If you are interested in going to any of the prisons you will need to fill out the Department of Corrections Volunteer Application to get approved to participate in the prisons. Complete the application, print it and bring to church in an envelope labeled Prison Ministry. You can turn it in at Guest Services.

If you have further questions or want to get connected please contact us at PrisonMinistry@Christs.Church.

Give the gift of life to unborn children! Partner with us to support First Coast Women's Services as they provide free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, peer counseling, education materials and Bibles to women that come into their centers. Annually we collect money in baby bottles from Mother's Day Weekend to Father's Day.

In our broken world, we may find ourselves in a crisis caused by such things as a fire, hurricane or tornado. In partnership with International Disaster Emergency Services, we are creating a team to learn how to respond to meet needs. If you’d like to join this team of volunteers:

  • Email and put “Crisis Relief Team” in the subject line.

  • Be sure the email includes your name

  • Be sure the email is coming from or includes the email you want us to use

  • Include your best phone number

Annually, we provide help to struggling families at Christmas time through our community Christmas Shop.  This shop makes new, discounted toys available to selected families thanks to the generosity of the CC family.   If you are interested in collecting toys or hosting a toy drive let us know! Shopping is by invite only through our church, agency, and school partnerships.

What began with Freedom Fest continues every day. Together, we can free young women bound by human trafficking! It’s a huge, often “invisible” problem: domestic trafficking of young women… and it’s happening right here in Jacksonville to thousands of  women. Right now, there are few places in the nation where young women can go to heal and rebuild their lives as they are rescued. They need aftercare in a safe place. Christ’s Church, in partnership with Her Song and others, is working to build one, here in Jacksonville.  The “safe house” will provide a refuge where these exceptional young women can heal from the devastating effects of sexual exploitation, find the confidence to succeed, develop the courage to move forward.  How you can help: 1) Contact Her Song to volunteer / support their needs 2) Give towards the creation of a "safe house" for these rescued women. Questions? Email us at Hello@Christs.Church.
