2025 Christmas Shop - Let Freedom Ring
Christmas Freedom for the Military
This year a significant portion of our Christmas Shop program will be focused on 500+ children of the Active Duty and Reserve Military families in Jacksonville. There are several ways to get involved to help bring relief from the rising costs of Christmas to these junior ranked families and serve those that provide us with so many of the freedoms we enjoy. All proceeds from this shop will go back to the chapels on the bases we serve so they can continue providing critical family care for our sailors and soldiers.
Form a shopping team to purchase toys for the shop, join the inventory team, serve at the party on December 6th, or buy directly from Amazon.
Christmas Freedom for the Fathers and Grandfathers of Baker Re-Entry
Last year we held our first Christmas party for the families of the Baker Re-Entry prison. That location is host to 450 men that have 48 months or less on their sentence, and many of them attend our prison ministry programs. The ones who sign up will get to select 2 toys each for their kids or grandkids and the families can pick them up at this one-of-a-kind party designed as a step for reconciliation with the families that dad and granddad are coming home to.
Donate the gifts they pick out at our Amazon registry, sign up to wrap gifts, make cookies for the inmates or even serve at the party itself by clicking the right buttons below!
Freedom to Choose - Title 1 Schools and Refugees
Working with Title 1 Schools has been at the heart of many previous year’s Christmas Shop programs. There have been some changes in how we have been able to approach our partner schools this year. Because of those changes, we aren’t able to serve them well in the old format. This year we’re giving them the freedom to choose how they want to celebrate Christmas; through a generous donation to Crown Point Elementary and Mayport Coastal Sciences Middle School, while we continue year-round ministry services with them during the 25-26 school year. Please continue to pray for our partner schools throughout the year.
For our refugee partners who serve many that are free to celebrate a first or second Christmas in the US, we’ve curated a special gift registry on Amazon and are asking for generosity to help provide toys we know this vulnerable population will love. Please join us in sharing the generosity of Jesus with them.

Ring where you pray!
If you could bless a ministry with $120 this year, and never spend a single cent, would you do it? Of course you would - and here’s how you can do it. Following Light Up Jax and the prayer covering of Jacksonville over the Summer, we’re partnering with the Salvation Army and want to let our love for Jax ring out this holiday season by ringing the bells in the areas we’ve been praying! Each two-hour shift is worth approximately $120 to the S.A. and goes back into the many ministries they provide. This family friendly serve activity is very popular so please sign up soon, and follow the instructions in the Servefinder to secure your spot!
