First Wednesdays - August 6 Long Table

August 6 – The Long Table (6:30pm)

Gather around the table for food, fellowship, and friendship.

Christ’s Church Mandarin Campus (6045 Greenland Rd.)

What is The Long Table?
The Long Table is more than an event, it’s an experience designed to bring people together in a fun, unforgettable way. Picture this: a massive banquet-style table stretching through the halls of Christ’s Church, filled with laughter, good food, and meaningful connection.

This high-energy evening is packed with games and activities that spark joy, creativity, and conversation. Whether you're coming with a friend or flying solo, you'll find yourself part of a team in no time… laughing, bonding, and building community as you go.

It’s an invitation to belong. To share stories. To make memories. And to experience the power of togetherness in a setting that’s relaxed, relational, and refreshingly different.

What to Expect:
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed and seated at a beautifully set table alongside others ready for an incredible night. A table host will guide your group through the evening, serving up a casual dinner of hot sandwiches, chips, veggies, and drinks… picnic-style.

As the meal begins, light music fills the air and the first round of interactive games kicks off. These aren’t just any games, they’re designed to get everyone laughing, talking, and sharing. And just when you’ve started to bond with your crew, we’ll mix things up with a table rotation to meet even more new faces!

Expect some light-hearted competition, surprise moments, and a final celebration where the “heads of the table” are honored in a cheer-worthy way.

To close the evening, we’ll come together as one big community for a song, a short word of encouragement, and a time of communion. And of course, it wouldn’t be complete without banana pudding for dessert and a chance to check out ways to stay connected in the future.

Come hungry for food, fun, and connection.
The Long Table is a night you won’t forget—and the kind of gathering you’ll want to be part of again and again.
