Foster the Family
This Christian Moms' Foster Care Support Group is a faith-based community dedicated to supporting and uplifting mothers who are fostering or feel called to foster children. Grounded in Christian values of compassion, love, and service, this group offers a comforting environment where moms can share their journeys, challenges, and prayer needs. Through prayer, biblical encouragement, and practical support, the group seeks to strengthen mothers’ faith and resilience as they navigate the fostering process.
This support network provides spiritual guidance, resources, and fellowship to empower moms to reflect Christ’s love in their caregiving. Meetings often include prayer sessions, Bible study, and discussions on how faith can sustain and inspire foster mothers in their calling. The Christian Moms' Foster Care Support Group aims to cultivate a community rooted in God’s love, where mothers find hope, encouragement, and strength to serve vulnerable children with grace and compassion.
Foster the Family meets on the second Sunday of the month from 5:30-7:30pm at the Mandarin Campus. It’s an open group without registration. For more information, please contact Kim McNickle at Kmcnickle@christs.church.
